Celebrate Music Festival Information and Entry Form
Purpose
To encourage students to love music! All styles of music are welcome, including popular, rock, jazz, and yes–classical. Original student compositions are also welcome.
Who can participate?
All music students of SMTA and non-SMTA teachers are welcome.
2025 Celebrate Music Festival Schedule
February 11th, 2025 — Start of registration
March 17th, 2025 —Registration deadline
April 19th, 2025 — Event

Fees
- $25
INSTRUMENTS
Piano, woodwinds and strings are included in the festival.
Piano accompanying is allowed with any instrument.
Adjudication
Students will receive written comments from the judge. Students have the option to receive a score.
ORIGINAL SCORES
Except for original compositions, all scores must be originally purchased.
Categories: Students can choose from the following:
– Solos performed from memory
– Solos performed with music
– Mixed ensembles with instruments other than piano or keyboard
– Original student composition
– Accompanying
– Arrangement from a lead sheet
